Most of the girls are into
fashion and wanted to look sexy. There are some girls out there bought their
clothes in a known shop/boutique. But, you can buy clothes in the market (oo
palengke) or SM department store; there are so many cute dresses/clothes there
at mura pa or you can buy clothes din in Ukay-ukay very affordable as in super!
Just like me! I was watering the plants when
there’s a walking ukay-ukay (I call this walking ukay-ukay because they sell
clothes on a different places with their kariton) their shorts caught my
attention, I went to that kariton and checked their shorts and they were all
cute, 35 each and 3 for one hundred so if you buy 3 you can save 5 peso, at
least right? So, since I love shorts I bought 9 shorts, not exage okay?
Things to remember when you buy
in Ukay-Ukay (may ganap pang ganito ha)
When you buy in Ukay-ukay always
remember the advantages and disadvantages.
- Advantage: you can buy clothes in a cheapest price and branded pa.
- Disadvantages: You have to be wise when you buy in Ukay-ukay, you need to check every detail of the clothes and of course you have to wash it very carefully.
Tips in washing your clothes from Ukay
- Soak your ukay clothes on a hot water for one and a half hours with your favorite powder soap then wash it carefully using laundry brush (kagaya nung fish net na bilog, hard to explain) and rinse.
- Again, soak in hot a water for one and a half hour with soap then wash carefully (you can see the difference because the water on the first wash is too dark) then rinse carefully and soak in to your favorite fabric conditioner for 5 mins and hang.
- When already dry, iron it and tadaaa ready to wear
These are some of my shorts I
bought in Ukay-ukay… good as new right? lol
And ofcourse may paandar pa akong
ganito… one of the shorts na nabili ko in ukay-ukay, taken by my cousin at
moonleaf Fairview
When you’re into fashion it doesn't have to be so much expensive, more important is how you handle your
outfit so well and of course how you taking care of your clothes…
